Wissland Stories is a family-grown brand inspired by the joy, curiosity, and imagination of childhood. Created by parents and inspired by their children, Wissland creates books and activities that turn everyday moments into playful learning experiences for families to enjoy together.

A cartoon family of five posing together, with the mother and father kneeling and the children standing. The mother has shoulder-length brown hair, glasses, and wears a purple shirt with a pink vest and beige pants. The father has short curly hair, a beard, and wears a gray shirt. The children include a boy with short hair, a girl with curly hair, and a toddler girl with curly hair, all smiling and dressed casually.

Busola Salako

Author

Busola is a wife, mom, nurse, creator, and the founder of Wissland. Inspired by her children, Anjie & Ayo, she began creating stories that celebrate curiosity, imagination, and the magic of everyday learning.

Her debut book, Everything Is Bwoo!, grew from playful family moments and a desire to make learning colors fun and engaging.

Through Wissland’s books, puzzles, and activities, Busola hopes to inspire children to explore their creativity and families to share meaningful moments together.

Seun Salako

Seun is the original creator behind Wissland, a dream he had long before marriage and fatherhood—a place where his creativity, stories, and imagination could live.

The name Wissland carries a special meaning:

W.I.S.S. stands for “Who Is Seun Salako.”

Years later, that dream became a family mission when he shared it with his wife, Busola, who helped turn Wissland into the storytelling brand it is today.

His newest book, The Boy Who Sold a Million Books, a story meant to inspire children to take their dreams seriously—and remind parents to revisit and nurture the dreams they once held as children.
